For August, Midtown is taking one of the world's most beloved comfort foods and turning it into a chef-led tasting experience unlike anything else in Brisbane.
Introducing Burger Omakase, a five-course menu created by Chef Dan that celebrates creativity, nostalgia and the simple joy of eating a really good burger.
Available throughout August, the limited experience will welcome just ten guests per night, transforming Midtown's intimate dining room into a playground for diners who appreciate food that is equal parts delicious and unexpected.
The concept takes inspiration from traditional omakase dining, where guests place their trust in the chef, but instead of sushi or fine dining classics, every course explores a different interpretation of a burger.
From Moreton Bay bugs and Siberian caviar to molten mozzarella and Jamón Ibérico, every course pushes the idea of a burger somewhere unexpected.
At just ten guests per evening, Burger Omakase is designed to feel exclusive, intimate and unlike anything else happening in Fish Lane this winter.

Moreton Bay Bug Burger
Lightly battered Moreton Bay bugs with gochujang mayo and kimchi slaw, served in a toasted brioche bun.
Spiced Potato Vada Pav
Spiced potato patty stuffed with molten mozzarella, served with green chilli chutney in a soft dinner roll. Midtown's take on the famous Mumbai street-food classic.
Open-Faced Chicken Nugget Burger
Crispy chicken nuggets served on a toasted waffle with whipped maple butter, hot honey and Siberian caviar.
Beef & Chorizo Stuffed Burger
Beef and chorizo patty stuffed with melted cheese, topped with red onion, roasted red pepper relish, cream cheese and Jamón Ibérico crumble, served in warm flatbread.
Chocolate Ice Cream Burger
Two fluffy vanilla cupcake slices stacked around rich Belgian chocolate ice cream, topped with vanilla frosting, berry frosting and crunchy coconut.
